A bit about Matt:
Singer-songwriter and musician Matt Owens first came to prominence as a founder member of indie-folk band Noah and the Whale. Releasing four albums, Noah and the Whale achieved huge success in the UK and overseas, selling over one million albums in the UK alone. The band toured the world between 2006 and 2015, playing hundreds of festivals, including Austin City Limits, Fuji Rocks and Lollapalooza, as well as touring with the likes of Arcade Fire, Bahamas, and Laura Marling.
February 2019 saw the release of Matt’s debut solo album, Whiskey and Orchids to widespread critical acclaim including a 5 star review in Maverick Magazine. The album received substantial Radio play from BBC 6 Music, 5 LIVE, BBC Scotland and BBC Wales. A UK Tour supporting Thea Gilmore followed in May, (with Matt also playing in her band) then a summer of 25 festivals including Glastonbury and then joining Robert Vincent on his Autumn UK Tour. Autumn 2020 will see the release of Matt’s second album, Scorched Earth, hopefully followed by a return to touring following the postponement of 30 festivals due to Covid-19.
A bit about Levi:
Levi Davis is a Bath-based, singer-songwriter best known for reaching the semi-final of ITV’S X Factor: Celebrity, with the band Try Star. A stunning vocalist with effortless charisma and a commanding presence, he was instantly hailed as having ‘The Voice’ and branded ‘a star’ by industry legend Louis Walsh, whilst his performance was also championed by Randy Jackson (Aretha Frankln, Madonna, Maria Carey.) A masterful songwriter in his own right, Levi’s set to release his hotly-anticipated first single in 2020 which industry insiders have already compared to the likes of Labyrinth, Khalid and Miguel. With his smooth, contemporary tones paired to intimate lyrics, and with an uplifting sound that refuses to be pigeon-holed, Levi Davis is seemingly trailblazing a path all his own, lighting up the music industry and firmly establishing himself as a major force for years to come.
A bit about Jonny:
Jonny Morgan is an Alternative Indie Americana Folk singer/songwriter who clearly struggles having to describe what specific genre he falls into! Jonny aspires to make music that is vulnerable, incorporating the real, raw emotions of everyday life into his gritty acoustic singer/songwriter style. Unsigned and fearlessly independent, Jonny endeavours to take his sound back to basics, reflecting on the reason he felt the pull to create music in the first place. His music combines his talent for vocalising the weight of relationships and life experiences with poetic lyrics and warm, layered, ambient sounds. Jonny made his debut at Glastonbury in 2019 and alongside being a Sofar Sounds alumni and Mahogany Sessions artist, he has supported Turin Brakes, Wildwood Kin and Robert Vincent along the way.
A bit about KERENSA:
With a sound that will remind you of music’s purpose, Kerensa Mason seamlessly shifts from dark and brooding to upbeat and satirical, all whilst expressing her integrity as an artist. Whether it’s in the unique vocal delivery, her willingness to write about challenging topics, or the unexpected sprinkling of sounds, Kerensa’s music kicks back against the status quo.
Built on a bed of synth-pop textures and contemporary grooves, her music has a film-like quality, driven by the strong narrative element in her writing. If you love artists like Kate Bush, Everything Everything and Halsey, Kerensa needs to be your next Spotify play.
